Pumpkin no. 1: Can you guess what it is? …it’s supposed to be one of the little blue miners (not minors!) from Galaxy Quest. I figured even if I screwed up, it’d still look pretty scary for the kiddies. Mostly it just looks like a fish guy. I cheated with the pic because I have to drive back to school and can’t wait for it to get dark. This was actually taken in our garage’s bathroom. :P
Does anyone care about xxxHolic and Tsubasa any more? I probably shouldn’t have taken two years to finish this project (I got bored and reinterested a number of times).
Etching glass is fun!
One of the kids at work misheard something my sisterboss said as “Iron Fish!” and proceeded to make it out of clay. It caught on, and suddenly we ended up with a gigantic school of superfish. Many of them got taken home and/or ruined but I got some pictures first. Most of these are the ones I made, except the Thingfish, but he fit with the other Fantastic Fish.
My favorites were, of course, from Charles Xavifish’s School for Gifted Fishes.
I made rice krispy treat sushi. And yes, that is a dipping sauce full of chocolate syrup.
So I spent my afternoon putting bowties on rubber ducks. And they say I’m not productive during the summer!
