Some set detail photos… everything was designed to look better from a distance than up close, but that doesn’t mean we skimped on the detail!
The chairs are actually padded, and comfortable to sit in (especially the helm chair).
The doors open and close in exactly the same manner they do on the show, but without the noise.
We added a couple of replicators for convenience’s sake.
Sadly, LCARS is non-functional. The chorus pretends.
I can’t promise to stop re-tumbling Pinafore stuff because it’s just too awesome and I was part of it.
Here I am just admiring our amazing set and suddenly there I am in the fifth picture.
Wow, look at what one of our cast members put together!
We open Friday!
Seriously folk. FRIDAY.
FRIDAY.
And after that, Saturday and Sunday and then another Friday and a Saturday.
Seriously though, come see us, pretty much everyone I know worked on it and/or is in it, including me. IT WILL BE AWESOME.
Never mind the why and wherefore

Beam aboard the Starship Pinafore and see one of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best-loved classics as you’ve never seen it before! Using the original G&S score, the interactions of the crew, their uniforms, and their ship are re-imagined to fit an alternate timeline with some recognizable Starfleet favorites. Can love really level all ranks? Find out starting January 25th.

The Stanford Savoyards are putting on a STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION themed version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore.
If you live in the SF Bay Area, PLEASE COME AUDITION for the show!! There are available Lead and Chorus roles for any and all ST:TNG characters! (Within reason. You probably don’t want to have to sing and dance as a Ferengi.)
We’re also looking to put a
Sparks McGeeWesley Crusher in the chorus :)If you don’t want to audition… please come see the show when it opens in January!!
You know this combo already works, because this.

I think this is it for now but more may be coming.
Some were made with specific people in mind but YOU’LL HAVE TO GUESS WHICH ONE’S FOR YOUUUU
